DAN RILEY - TECHNICAL RIDER
A Special Note: Dan Riley's requirements
are minimal and reasonable. Any attempt to "save costs" by eliminating
items may actually result in a show being seriously delayed or even cancelled.
If you have concerns about any item do not hesitate to call in advance of
the show date.
SOUND: Dan Riley carries one
wireless guitar system. In addition he requires:
- A professional sound system sufficient to fill the entire
performance area with clean, clear sound. It will have at least two full-range
mains and separate EQ capabilities for both mains and monitor. Ceiling
speaker systems are not acceptable!
- 1 Boom type mic stand placed downstage center
- 1 Shure SM-58 hard-wired microphone for vocal
- 1 Shure SM-58 hard-wired microphone near stage as back-up
- !!! SM-58s CANNOT BE SUBSTITUTED - PLEASE, NO "UPGRADES"
!!!
- 1 grounded Direct Box with 1/4" input (high impedance)
for guitar. See Stage Plot for placement.
- 1 mixing board with at least 4 free channels 1 outboard
reverb effects processor (Yamaha SPX preferred)
- 1 wedge monitor placed stage left of microphone, aimed
at performer
- AC power side stage for effects units
LIGHTS:
- 1 Mini-Trouper spotlight with "no-color" pink
gel
- At least 4 front or side specials, one blue and one red
on each side, w/separate color intensity controls.
- Total control of house lighting (3/4 house lights preferred)
SOUND AND SPOTLIGHT OPERATORS MUST BE WELL-SEASONED
PROFESSIONALS CAPABLE OF MEETING TROUBLE-SHOOTING NEEDS OF ALL EQUIPMENT.
Stage should be minimum 10' wide x 6' deep
x 2' high.
Please position stage as close as possible
to audience.
